This statement summarizes how Snowbotix protects data across the SMUR FMA platform. It is a general overview; contractual security terms are set in the Master Services Agreement and its Data Privacy & Processing Agreement.
1. Safeguards
- Encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256).
- FIPS 140-3 validated cryptographic modules for regulated/defense deployments.
- Role-based access control enforced at the API level, MFA for administrators, and comprehensive audit logging.
- Annual third-party penetration testing and a vulnerability-management program.
2. Hosting & residency
US (standard) data is hosted in AWS US regions; US defense data in AWS GovCloud (US) with no non-US replication; Canadian data in AWS Canada (Central).
3. Certifications & authorizations
Snowbotix does not currently hold third-party security certifications or government authorizations. Our platform controls are designed to align with recognized frameworks, including the SOC 2 Trust Services Criteria, and with the requirements applicable to regulated and defense deployments.
